Mature Students

University for Mature Students

It is never too late to get a degree. We help adults aged 21 and over find the right course, check whether they can apply, and get through the application. Our service is free.

Who counts as a mature student?

In the UK you are usually classed as a mature student if you are 21 or over when your course starts. There is no upper age limit for university.

Many universities look at your work and life experience, not just exam results. If you left school without the qualifications you needed, there are still routes in — see going to university without A-levels.
